Sacramento Artist Mary Carboni has worked  as a private art teacher, a Gifted and Talented Education teacher, and retired from Sacramento Unified School District as an an Art and Language Arts teacher. She attended San Jose State University, and has a degree in Fine Arts as well as a Lifetime Elementary Teaching Credential.  Mary now works as an artist focusing mainly on painting and ceramics.  Her work has been shown in local galleries.
